Protected Cultivation of High value crops
The unit has 4 naturally ventilated poly houses, 1 fully controlled poly house, 3 poly tunnels for raising seedlings and one agro shed net house. The unit is being run by the department of Vegetable Science. Under this unit students learn cultivation of crops like coloured capsicum, cucumber, tomato, gerbera, strawberry etc. Each and every activity of cultivation right from sowing until harvesting and even the marketing accomplished by participating students.
