Our vision is to provide world-class, nationally and internationally recognized knowledge and leadership for Forestry issues. The department possesses potential faculty strength across the breadth of forest science which is actively engaged in doing teaching and fundamental research in interlinked areas: Seed Technology; Nursery Technology; Plantation Forestry; Forest Regeneration; Forest Management; Forest Productivity; Quantitative Silviculture; GIS and Remote Sensing; Agroforestry Practices and Management and, Rangeland Science.
