Independence Day
The Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August 2015 at ADM Block, CHF Jhalawar. At this occasion Prof. L.K. Dashora, Dean, hoisted the national flag and addressed to the staff and student of the college.
Student Election
College Level Students’ Union Election 2015-16 was held on 26th August, 2015 for the post of President, General Secretary, Joint Secretary cum Treasurer. The notification was issued on 12th August 2016 and the whole process was completed during 13th August to 26th August, 2016. Prof. M.C. Jain DSW, AU, Kota was Chief Electoral Officer, Prof. L.K. Dashora, Dean was Returning Officer. Dr. S.K. Trevedi, Director Education, AU, Kota was the Observer, Dr. P.S. Chauhan, ADSW was the Coordinator of the election process. Mr. Davendra Kumar, B.Sc. Forestry IV year, Mr. Jai Bhagwan B.Sc. Forestry III year and Ms. Archna Kumari, B.Sc. Horticulture III year was elected President, General Secretary, Joint Secretary cum Treasurer respectively. The oath to the elected office bearer was swarmed by the Dean and Returning officer Prof. L.K. Dashora.
Voters’ awareness oath ceremony
In pursuance and compliance to the directions of Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan, on the occasion of VIth National Voters’ Day Oath Ceremony was organized. The oath swarmed by the Dean Prof. L.K. Dashora to the college staff and students by on 25th January, 2016.
Republic day
The 67th Republic day was celebrated on 26th January 2016 at ADM Block, CHF Jhalawar. At this occasion Prof. L.K. Dashora hoisted the national flag at 9.00 am and addressed to the staff and student of the College. On this occasion Dr. Davendra Choudhary, Joint Director, Centre of Excellence on Citrus, CHF campus, Dr. I.B. Mauya Controller of Examination, Agriculture University Kota, Dr. Ashutosh Mishra, Dr. Prerak Bhatnager, Dr.S.K. Moond also addressed to the staff and student of the College. There were 7 presentations made by the students of the college pertaining to patriotic song, patriotic poem and speech. Dr. P.S. Chauhan, ADSW, CHF, Jhalawar coordinated the ceremony. A cricket match between students versus staff was also played on this occasion and the student declared winner in the play.
Best Student of the Year :At the University level two students Mr. Mohit Husain, B.Sc. Forestry, IV Year in Forestry discipline and Mr. Mohan Lal Jat, B.Sc. Horticulture, IV Year in Horticulture discipline were awarded as the Best Students of the year by the Chief Guest Dr. P.K. Gupta, Director Research and Extension, and Registrar Mrs. Bhagwanti Jethwani, AU, Kota. The ceremony was coordinated by Dr. M.C. Jain, Director, Students’ Welfare, AU, Kota.
Academics: Two students got rank in ICAR JRF-2015 in Horticulture namely Mr. Hitesh Agarwal (12th rank) and Mr. Pawan Nagar (31st rank) and Mr. Pushpendra Singh got 53rd rank in Plant Science and also 13th students were qualified ICAR Exam in Horticulture and two in Forestry. About 35 students fund eligible for P.G. (Horticulture & Forestry Programme) across various Agriculture & Forestry University in the country. 3 students of Horticulture are pursuing Ph.D. and 15 students of Horticulture and Forestry are pursuing M.Sc. from various Universities.
Cultural activities:
The cultural week was organized from 4 to 9 May, 2015 in which events Poster making, Rangoli, Debate, Solo Songs, Solo Dance, Quiz and Essay were organized. 14 students were found worthy for various prizes.

In extracurricular Activities :In 26th Kota Range Police Sports Competition which was organized at Jhalawar, in these competition two students of this college namely Mr. Chenaram Jat, B.Sc. Forestry II Year and Mr. Rakesh Jangid, B.Sc. Forestry I Year were selected as a match referee from the College.
Mr. Shankar Lal Yadav, B.Sc. Forestry IV Year and Mr. Mohit Husain, B.Sc. Forestry III Year students actively participated in “National Convention on Forestry” which was held at Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubhneshwar between 24th and 25th January, 2015.
The Forestry subject has been included in RPSC recently competitive examinations, which will enhance the potential of Forestry subject in the state.
The Horticulture subject is now equivalent to the Agriculture and other allied science subjects in RPSC competitive examinations, which will enhance the potential of Horticulture subject in the state.
